Obituary for Mildred M. Beiler

Mildred M.  Beiler
Mildred M. Beiler, 66, formerly of E. Pine Street, Ephrata, passed away on Thursday, December 14, 2017, at Mt. Hope Dunkard Brethren Home.

She was born in Reading to the late Landis and Marie Steffy.

She was a member of Washington Avenue Bible Church.

Mildred was a bookkeeper for various businesses in the Ephrata area, most recently for Uncle Henry's Pretzels and H and S Food Distributors. Mom valued frugality and enjoyed good food. She was an avid reader and learner. Mom enjoyed singing with her brothers and their spouses and listening to gospel music. She enjoyed going to her grandchildren's sporting events and musicals over the years.

Mildred is survived by 2 daughters, Sheri, wife of Jay McCumber of Lebanon, Michelle Beiler of Ephrata; 3 grandchildren, Trey, Christy and Ben; 5 brothers; Clyde, husband of Patricia Hibshman, Galen, husband of Beverly Hibshman, Vernon, husband of Jane Hibshman, Ivan, husband of Virginia Hibshman, Luke, husband of Sandra Hibshman and a sister-in-law, Joan Hibshman.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Titus Hibshman and a sister, Martha Overly.

A viewing will be held on Thursday, December 21, 2017, from 10 to 11AM at the Washington Avenue Bible Church, 149 Washington Avenue, Ephrata, followed by funeral services at 11AM, with Pastor Jay Quirk officiating. Interment will be private in the Middle Creek Brethren Cemetery.

Memorial contributions in Mildred's memory may be made to Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, 2408A Park Dr, Harrisburg, PA, 17110.
