He loved fishing, beautiful sunrises, flying his American flags in honor of his country, and being with his family. He touched a lot of lives with his amazing sense of humor. His jobs included managing grocery stores, a restaurant, and assembling furniture at a local company. After he retired he worked for an excavating company as a parts runner. He loved working with wood and made a lot of “special” things for his grandchildren and children. He served in his church as Treasurer and served on the board as a deacon and on the board of missions and helped on the finance committee.
There will be a memorial service in his honor on January 6, 2018, 10:30 AM at Washington Ave Bible Church in Ephrata. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations to Hospice and Community Care, PO Box 4125, Lancaster, PA 17552, would be greatly appreciated.
